THE WOODLANDS, TX – On Friday, October 4, 2013, staff and special guests of the Interfaith Child Development Center held a dedication ceremony for a recently installed sun shade for the centers outdoor play area.  The much-needed shade structure was sponsored by a grant from the American Academy of Dermatology.  “It is important that children learn the importance of protecting their skin at a young age, and the new shade structure helps provide the invaluable protection they need,” said Dr. Holly Hazlett, a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.

The new structure will provide shade and skin safety to the more than 350 children who attend the Interfaith Child Development Center.  “The new structure will allow our students and
teachers to spend more time outside enjoying the outdoor nature classroom,”  said
Bobbie Hrycushko, Director of the Interfaith Child development Center.

The Interfaith Child Development Center is a fully accredited and state-licensed pre-school dedicated to student excellence.  For more information on the Interfaith Child Development Center please visit www.interfaithkids.org or call 281-292-3617.
