VISIT THE WOODLANDS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM FOR THE PERFECT TURKEY TIME-OUT FALLTIVITIESTHE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Children’s Museum has designed a number of workshops to get young minds in the spirit of fall.

“Falltivities!” offers children ages 4 through 8 an opportunity to experiment with various media and materials – like printmaking with corn husks, pumpkin printing, creating artistic Thanksgiving snacks and other interactive activities.

For 4 year olds, workshops are scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Nov. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26.  Projects will vary for both days, so children may attend more than one session.

For children ages 5 to 8, there are sessions from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26. Attendees may stay for the full day, if they sign up for the lunch bunch.

Each session costs $34 for members and $54 for non-members. Lunch bunch is an additional $5 per day. Pre-registration is required.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum also offers several events scheduled to explore various cultural celebrations for the holidays. The calendar is also full of plenty of fun options for educational fun – from permanent exhibits to special performances.

The museum will be closed for Thanksgiving – from 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27 until it reopens at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.

There is always something happening at the Museum – with a variety of exhibits focused on cultural enrichment, education and creativity. All activities are included in the cost of admission. Daily Admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. Admission is free for children under 2 and museum members. Recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
