The John Cooper School Third Graders Donate 1,544 Pounds of Food to the Interfaith Food Pantry

The John Cooper School third grade students sponsored a food drive on campus in November, and when the final numbers were in, learned that they had collected 1,544 pounds of food for the Interfaith Food Pantry.

Students created posters and volunteered to spread the word during car line in support of the service project.

Dr. Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith, and Missy Herndon, Interfaith’s director of programs and services, met with students on campus to thank them for their efforts, bringing them an oversized thank you card. The John Cooper School is a PK-Grade 12 independent school that has a current enrollment of 1,202 students.

The school’s annual Admission Open House for interested families to learn more about enrolling for the 2016-17 school year, is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in the school’s Glenn Performing Arts Center on January 9, 2016.
