The March of Dimes March for Babies on April 27th, 2013 in The Woodlands, TX – Montgomery County

The March of Dimes – March for Babies – Montgomery County 2013 event will be taking place this Saturday April 27th, 2013 starting at 9:00 a.m. The event will be taking place at Woodlands Church, Fellowship Campus One Fellowship Dr The Woodlands, TX 77383. This will be a great opportunity to get out and get some exercise, while raising money for a great cause. According to the March of Dimes organization’s website, “We’ve been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2.6 billion! Join the more than 7 million people who participate, donate and/or sponsor. There are plenty of opportunities for day-of-event exposure, activation and education – not to mention opportunities to meet hundreds of others who are just like you!”

The March of Dimes Foundation is a United States nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. It was founded by past President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938 to combat polio. It has since taken up promoting general health for pregnant women and babies.
