THE WOODLANDS, TX – Families attending the 16th Annual Red Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza may think they’re seeing double when two fireworks displays, presented by BBVA Compass, simultaneously fill the night sky in The Woodlands on July 4, 2013.

The Red, Hot & Blue Fireworks Extravaganza will be launched from two locations – from Timberloch Place near I-45 and from the Waterway Plaza Parking Garage near Waterway Square.

“Two simultaneous fireworks displays will present better views for everyone in attendance,” notes Nick Wolda, president of The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Having our partner BBVA Compass return as fireworks sponsor was a huge step toward presenting the two displays. It should be quite a night.”

The Red Hot & Blue Festival, presented by the Ellis & Ellis private wealth advisory practice, is produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau.

One of Houston’s largest fireworks displays, the dazzling 20 minute show will begin at dusk on Thursday, July 4, 2013 following a full day of free live music, games, H-E-B hot dog and watermelon-eating contests and more at Town Green Park and Waterway Square.

Red Hot & Blue Festival Map“We are proud to once again sponsor the Fourth of July fireworks show in The Woodlands,” said BBVA Compass Houston City President Mark Montgomery. “This year, there will be twice the fun with two simultaneous displays and better views for everyone.”
