The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Houston and Montgomery County Light The Night Walk

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Houston and Montgomery County Light The Night WalkWOODLANDS, TX – Light The Night Walk events are evenings filled with inspiration. During these leisurely walks, participants carry illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer to form communities of support that are bringing light to the dark world of cancer and hope to individuals and families batting blood cancer. Last year, more than $55 million was raised through Light The Night Walks in approximately 200 communities in North America.  Millions of consumers are also helping to battle blood cancer by donating at retail outlets. In Houston, the walk will take place on October 12, 2013 at Discovery Green, downtown and in Montgomery County on October 20, 2013 at Market Street Square in The Woodlands.

Light The Night Walk gives hope to patients and their families and lets them know they are not alone in their battle against cancer,” said Billie Sue Parris.Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Houston and Montgomery County Light The Night Walk_1
