Get ready for an exciting event happening in The Woodlands during the week of November 2-8 called The Woodlands Restaurant Week TWRW.

This is a new event to The Woodlands, but has been happening annualy in Houston for quite some time. The theme of this week long event is inspired by Houston’s very own Houston Restaurant Weeks which raised more than 1.6 million for The Houston Food Bank in 2014 according to the Houston Business Journal.

The idea of The Woodlands Restaurant Week is to Eat Local and Give Back. The great deals you receive at restaurants over the course of the week will help feed the hungry, so not only are you enjoying your favorite meals and dishes, you’re also giving back to a greater cause.

Woodlands Monocle has teamed up with The Montgomery County Food Bank to help get this inaugural TWRW started and assist in getting restaurants signed up. You can find the form you need to fill out to participate as a restaurant HERE!

How it works is restaurants participating will have the option to donate $1 to $3 per item sold during the week and all of the proceeds will go to The Montgomery County Food Bank.

Montgomery County Commissioner Precinct 3 James Noack has agreed to match the first $2,500 from interested diners.

If you are a local restaurant in The Woodlands area you need to sign up for this event as it will help feed the hungry and give back to the people of Montgomery County who may not be able to afford a meal. If you are a foodie or food lover you’ll definitely need to make it out to your favorite local participating restaurants listed below during the week of November 2-8. More will be added as they sign up.

The current list of restaurants participating at this time are:
