The Woodlands is an ever growing community of foodie bliss! New restaurants, diners and places to eat and drink are popping up all the time.

With the creation and evolution of Facebook groups over the last 5 years people can join groups to talk about and share certain things that they have in common for example food, drinks and more.

Foodie groups not only share food and drink experiences, many of them also raise community awareness of local fundraisers and more.

Everyone eats food, no matter if you like the same restaurants as someone else or not, we all have to eat. Foodie groups let people share new restaurant openings, closings, things they’ve tried, recipes and more.

One thing to be aware of is rules. Every group you join on Facebook has rules set up by the administrator of the group, which are set to keep things regulated amongst members. Some are more relaxed than others so just be sure to read the rules and info on each group you join and follow to the best of your ability, which should help you to keep from getting kicked out or banned.

Etiquette:

Keep your posts nice, share knowledgeable enlightening information and before you join a foodie group to talk trash about a local restaurant or establishment be sure you’ve addressed your complaints or concerns directly with the management of the restaurant, so they can do their best to accommodate you.

Almost 100% of the time, if a restaurant manager or owner knows you are unhappy with service you received they will do their best to make things right with you.
